The History of Pinocchio Park?

Pinocchio Park was inaugurated in Collodi in 1956.
It was created in this village because Carlo Collodi, the author of the famous wooden puppet story, was born here.
The park’s purpose, beyond celebrating the world’s most famous fairy tale, is to stimulate imagination, creativity, and reflection through playful experiences.
The historical path features important contemporary artworks, including sculptures by Emilio Greco and monumental mosaics by Venturino Venturi, reinterpreting key moments of the story.

Over the years, the park has expanded with the Adventure Path, offering more dynamic and immersive experiences for children, and the enchanting Butterfly House, dedicated to biodiversity and nature discovery.

Who is the president?

Today, Pinocchio Park continues its growth thanks to the leadership of the president of the National Carlo Collodi Foundation, Giordano Bruno Guerri, a well-known Italian historian and essayist, who has helped strengthen the cultural identity of the park, enhance its artistic heritage, and promote new initiatives dedicated to families and childhood education.
